In 2008, four business partners started mattressrecycling.ca in Vancouver, British Columbia. They formed the first and only mattress recycling company in BC! The company was established to create solutions for people in the region looking to dispose of their unwanted mattresses and box springs.

mattressrecycling.ca is dedicated to reducing waste by keeping mattresses out of landfills and incinerators. BC landfills are filling up fast and our environment is on everybody's mind these days. In keeping with Vancouver's Zero Waste Challenge mattressrecycling.ca deals with your old mattresses in the following ways:

• Donate only the best ones to people in need
• Dismantle all others and repurpose over 90% of the materials

Mattresses and box spring's contain many re-usable materials including: Foam, wood, metal, filler, matting, plastic and other materials. All materials are sent to local manufacturers or recyclers.
